Friends of National History Day

The Friends of National History Day is dedicated to supporting the National History Day program through volunteer activities and contributions. National History Day relies on the assistance of enthusiastic and generous people in leading students to discover the past so they can inform the present and shape the future.

Membership Levels

Citizen - $35
The citizen level is a basic membership for people who wish to show support for the national program. Citizens receive the NHD newsletter and annual report.

Patriot - $75
Patriots receive all the benefits of Citizens plus a 10% discount on NHD merchandise.

Pioneer - $150
Pioneers receive all benefits of Patriots plus an NHD merchandise item of their choice.

Explorer - $250
Explorers receive all the benefits of Pioneers. In addition, explorers receive exclusive invitations to the special receptions during the national contest in June and other special events throughout the year.

Activist - $500 and above
Activists receive all the benefits of Explorers plus a 20% discount on NHD merchandise.

Membership benefits may change and are subject to availability.

The most important benefit is the knowledge that you are supporting a worthwhile educational organization that instills in students the value and fun of learning history and improves the teaching of history.
