Shipping Instructions For June 2014
You can ship anything to the national contest that can't travel with you.
The Stamp Student Union will only accept shipments from June 3rd through June 9th, 2014. Packages received before June 3 will not be accepted. The University of Maryland will not accept any shipments that arrive C.O.D. You must pay a handling fee per package to National History Day, which is added to your total registration fees when registering online. This is only a handling fee. You are still responsible for arranging and paying for the shipment of your exhibit, equipment, or props to and from the national contest. Mailboxes, Etc. in the Stamp Student Union can help you arrange return shipment during the contest.
All Packages Must Be Out Of The Student Union No Later Than 5:00PM Friday, June 20. Any Projects That Remain Will Be Thrown Away!
PLEASE NOTE: The $25 handling fee is PER PARCEL/PACKAGE.
Due to size limitations, cartons must be able to fit through a standard doorway, approximately 32 inches wide and 79 inches high. Any oversized cartons received will be kept at Central Receiving. The address of Central Receiving is:

It is the responsibility of the individual shipping the item to transport it to their judging site. Allow ample time for delivery. Delivery takes a minimum of three to five business days.
