To participate in the Kenneth E. Behring National History Day Contest, you must create an account and complete the online registration process by Tuesday, May 15, 2012. To start, choose your registrant type in the drop down box below, and follow the instructions.
Registering Immediately After State Contest - Your information may take up to five days to appear in the system after you win in your state contest. If you cannot log in at this time, please check back in several days to register.
- Online registration will close promptly at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
- DOCTORS NOTES: If you have a medical condition that requries you to stay in an air conditioned dorm, you must send a doctors note to the national office. It must be received in the national office no later than Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
- NON-ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS: If you are NOT paying online, your check, money order, or other non-electronic payment must be received by the national office on or before Friday, May 25, 2012.
- A $50 late fee will be assessed for all registrants who do not complete their registration and submit payment before the May 15 deadline. If you need to complete your registration after the deadline, you must call the NHD National Office at 301-314-9739.
- Web Site entries will be locked for judging at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Be sure to complete and publish your web site before this time.
