In 2007, an Italian, Giovanni Maria Pala, found a religious hymn hidden in the Last Supper. If this were the case, then it might mean that Leonardo did believe in God. When Pala made “a musical staff across the painting,” where the bread loaves and the hands of Jesus and his Apostles represented a note. The notes were senseless until Pala reversed the notes (how Leonrado wrote). Then he was able to play a 40 second hymn.
