Featuring resources from the Library of Congress, National History Day (NHD) is offering a course for teachers, librarians, and preservice teachers to focus student research. The course will include four live webinars with an expert historian and culminate in the creation of an individual plan for teachers to use resources from the Library of Congress in their classroom in the upcoming semester. This program will feature four live webinars with a historian and a curriculum specialist to help teachers research sources from the Library of Congress and engage with students using active learning strategies. The four live programs are scheduled at 7pm ET / 4pm PT on September 14, October 14, November 11, and December 9. We strongly urge all participants to plan to attend the events live. If you are unable to join live or run into a technical problem, recordings will be available the next day.
